How much does it cost to advertise in My Local Magazine?
Adverts start from £40 per issue for an eighth page in the Stockton-on-Tees edition, and £80 in the Middlesbrough edition. A full page costs £195 (Stockton) or £390 (Middlesbrough). Regular advertisers can book a 1/8 page plan from £17.50 a month. No VAT is added. See our full price list.
Which areas does the magazine cover?
We print and distribute 30,000 copies every issue across Teesside. Middlesbrough edition (20,000 copies): areas typically include Acklam, Brookfield, Coulby Newham, Linthorpe, Marton, Maltby, Newby, Nunthorpe and Tollesby. Stockton-on-Tees edition (10,000 copies): areas typically include Hartburn, part of Oxbridge, Elmtree and Fairfield. Distribution is carried out by independent distributors, so areas are a guide and may vary between issues.
How many people read it?
We print and distribute 30,000 copies of every issue across Middlesbrough and Stockton-on-Tees, with over 60,000 local readers.
Is advert design included?
Yes. We design your advert free of charge and send you a proof to approve before it goes to print. You can also supply your own artwork.
How often is the magazine published?
Every two months: January–February, March–April, May–June, July–August, September–October and November–December. It has been published since 2011.
When is the booking deadline?
The booking deadline is the second Monday of every other month: January, March, May, July, September and November. The next deadline is Monday 9 November for the November/December issue. Deadlines may be brought forward around holidays or if an issue fills up. For free design, please send your logo, photos and wording at least 5 working days before the deadline.
How is the magazine delivered?
The glossy A5 magazine is distributed through letterboxes by independent distributors over the two months of each issue, so some homes may receive their copy in the second month.
